Ideas for walks with children
The Kaysersberg valley has plenty of activities to do with your children all year round. Come for a walk and discover our villages while having fun thanks to the playful walks and treasure hunts. If you are looking for easy walks with your little ones, you can take the stroller tours. In the mountains, on the heights of Lac Blanc, the Till and Froll play trail welcomes you in the summer for a fun circuit with enigmas to solve thanks to the scenery and games on site.
Visits to the farm and the museum
During the holidays, come and visit the Bassette Farm in Labaroche: you can meet, feed and stroke the animals: chickens, pigs, angora goats, Ouessant sheep, rabbits, donkeys. You can also discover their mohair product, made with the wool of their goat, on the spot.
A few minutes from the farm, head for the Espace des métiers du bois et du patrimoine in Labaroche: family visits are offered during the holidays with a little treasure hunt in the museum with demonstrations of the old woodworking trades accompanied by an enthusiastic guide.
Sensations and adventures
For thrill-seekers, go to the Lac Blanc adventure park, the Tricky Track rail-sled, the Bike Park or the mountain bike trails.
During the Christmas period, our villages will make you dream with their illuminations at nightfall. A fairy-tale atmosphere where the famous smell of “bredalas” (Alsatian biscuits) and hot apple juice mingle with the sumptuous decorations. A treasure hunt, punctuated with riddles, is proposed to young and old detectives, in order to discover where the treasure is hidden in the town of Kaysersberg.
